The tech giant and smartphone manufacturer Xiaomi has today launched their two new mid range smartphones that are Redmi Note 7 Pro and Redmi 7 smartphone for Chinese markets.This new mid range smartphone Redmi 7 is the xiaomi's latest smartphone in the entry-level price segment. For the design part the entry level smartphone Redmi 7 seems similar to the mid range smartphone Redmi Note 7 series in China. It comes with a polycarbonate body and will be in gradient finish color options. These two entry level and mid range smartphones will be running on Android 9 Pie operating system that will be based on latest MIUI 10.
For the part on specifications the entry level smarthone Redmi 7 is featuring a 6.26″ HD+ screen having a aspect ratio of 19:9 and has protection of Corning Gorilla Glass 5 that is predecessor of Corning Gorilla Glass 6.The new Redmi 7 smartphone is certified by TÜV Rheinland that will also control the exposure of blue light. The new smartphone Redmi 7 will be powered by octa core Qualcomm Snapdragon 632 chipset based on 14nm design. The Redmi 7 will also be powered by the Kryo CPU.The Redmi 7 will be available in variants including 2GB + 16GB, 3GB + 32GB, and 4GB + 64GB RAM and internal storage options.
The new smartphone Redmi 7 also has a MicroSD card slot that can be used for storage expandation on the smartphone. The Redmi 7 has dual cameras aligned vertically in the rear including 12MP + 2MP for better photographs and videos. The Redmi 7 also has a single selfie camera of 8MP that can be used for taking selfies and can be used for Face Unlock. It also has a fingerprint scanner on the back for authentication and it also has AI face unlock that will utilize front facing camera. The Redmi 7 will be powered by a large battery of 4000mAh and will support normal charging based on 5V/2A and will be done through 10W power adapter.
The mid range smartphone Redmi Note 7 has similar Splash Proof having P2i nano coating just like similar in Redmi 7. The entry level smartphone Xiaomi Redmi 7 is launched with colour variants including Black, Red, and Blue color options. The Redmi 7 base variant having 2GB RAM and 16GB onboard storage will be available at a price tag of CNY 699 (estimated Rs. 7010). The larger variants having 3GB and 4GB RAM will bbe available at a price tag of CNY 799 and CNY 999 that is a very good price.
