The Facebook owned messaging service WhatsApp is trying to stop the misinformation and fake news as LokSabha elections are approaching in India.The messaging platform Whatsapp has 200 Million active users in India and the company has launched a new feature in the app named Checkpoint Tipline feature which can be used through adding a number (+919643000888) to the contacts and the users can check that the news spread is real or misinformation. This will make user more private without any disgusting groups.If any user choose ‘Everyone’ he will be added to the group without users permission.
